Benefits to modeling?

Is there any benefits to baby modeling? Other then parents getting money for their child? Has anyone here ever gotten their baby/toddler in a commercial or add?
I have been thinking about this, not because I want my son to be in commercials, but I was interested in the Gerber baby (which I can't find any information on anyway).
Anyone have thoughts? And I don't need a lecture on how it's bad...I shouldn't do it. I know that already...I think my son is gorgeous, but I wouldn't put him through commercial shoots or anything. (But I would send in a picture for a contest)
LOL no I wouldn't be sad if my son wasn't picked.

I used to have one of my children in modeling. I lived in LA and I modeled at the time and just thought he was so cute....

HE made a little money and I put it in a CD and still have it for when he turns 21....
I say the only down fall to any child being in any entertainment type industry is if you push them into something they dont wanna do. If they quit having fun, or decide they dont wanna do it anymore, you have to stop. Pushing past that could be detrimental.

But a little cute baby contest...GO FOR IT!

Gerber Baby Photo Contest

Reputable ?

Does anyone know where I can go for a reputable cute baby photo contest? I constantly get compliments on how my daughter is and how she looks like a gerber baby or should be in a magazine and I don't want her in modeling. I thought a photo contest would be fun...any suggestions? She really is a cutey look for yourself.

Yeah, they were pics from my camera phone. They're not bad for a camera that doesn't do much. They are as is and haven't been retouched or anything.

I was wondering the same thing! The website doesn't say you can't! If it's just 2 or 3, maybe they'll pick out the best one.
