Stun Guns and the Art of Self Defense

The thought of being attacked by someone or a group of wild individuals wielding knives and other home made weapons is scary as anything and those of us who have been through such an experience know better to be prepared than to put ourselves in such a vulnerable situation any more. So you would have now purchased your personal protection gear – a pepper spray, stun gun, Taser or what not? But the best time to go in for such a purchase is the first time ever that the feeling crosses your mind as being potentially vulnerable to be made a victim of someone’s violent behavior, sexual urges, or mugging for money and valuables, or feeling stalked or under the compulsion to walk home through an unfriendly neighborhood during odd hours.

It does not matter whether you are a man or a woman. Under certain threatening situations, the level of vulnerability faced by both the sexes do not differ much. So having a self defense strategy to tackle a possible attacker is a must when you feel threatened. There is increased incidence of attempted rape, racial violence, robbery and purse snatching, during the after office and party hours. And that is the best time to raise your guard against potential danger. Whether it is a drunken stranger on the road or a colleague misbehaving during the free-lift-home, a stun gun can help keep them off you while you create the time to call for help.

College students usually fall victim to hazing and date rape which could lead to traumatic after effects. Irrespective of you being a student in a campus or office going or a sales executive or a single mother or a home maker, no matter if similar threats in the past have been inconsequential; it always helps to have something handy – like for example a stun gun. A relatively cheap expense compared to hospital bills, scars, and emotional trauma after an attack.

Stun guns are powerful enough to temporarily disable a person, giving you just enough time to scramble for an escape or look around for one. What happens after you press the trigger is that the offender’s central nervous system gets a sudden overload of electric energy which paralyses all other systems for a few seconds. It works on the principle of delivering a high voltage of electric current at low amperage so as to stun the person for a few seconds at a time and cause no physical damage after the initial shock subsides. That way it is a harmless yet life saving tool of self defense that you should have access to.

Stun guns are available across a wide variety of sizes, shapes and prices which goes up with the increase in voltage delivery. Stun guns are now available cleanly disguised to resemble a lipstick, cell phone, torch, pen and similar purse and pocket filling objects of daily use, that nobody would have the slightest idea you are carrying one unless you told them so. Never slip into vulnerability when you feel threatened again. Equip yourself and feel confident to fight back and save yourself. Because with a stun gun in your hand this time, it will not be you shouting for help.

Take a Disneyland Tour - By Best Hotel Rates

No Disneyland Vacation can be complete without a Disneyland tour – especially if it is your first trip to Disneyland.

There are currently four different tours to choose from, Disneyland park admission is required for all tours. It is strongly advised that you make a reservation for the tours that you wish to go on.

Hector Milla Editor of the "Best Hotel Deals" website -- http://www.BestHotelDeals.biz -- pointed out;

"...Disneyland's Discover the Magic Tour may be the most popular of the four. This tour will have you and your family working with Disneyland characters to find clues and hunt for treasure. You can literally live out a Disneyland fantasy with your family and loveable characters, outsmarting the Disney bad guys! This tour includes lunch and an exclusive gift that can only be obtained on this tour..."

The Discover the Magic Tour lasts for about three hours. There is a two ticket minimum, and the cost is $49 each of the first two tickets, with additional tickets costing $39. The tour is appropriate for the 5 – 9 year old age group, and adults. The tour is not really suitable for children under the age of five, or for children who need strollers.

The VIP Tour lasts for about four hours, and costs $75 per hour for a party of up to ten people. You must book this tour well in advance, or there will be an additional twenty dollar fee. The tour is not recommended for children, but is designed more for people who have a true love and interest in Disney and Disneyland history.

The Welcome to Disneyland Tour is absolutely perfect for first timers. There are many benefits to this tour, including priority seating at one of the stage shows, tips and suggestions for getting the most out of your Disneyland vacation, a brief history of the park, priority seating at one of the many restaurants, instruction in using FastPass, two bonus FastPass tickets, and much more. This tour lasts about two
and a half hours, and costs $25 per person.

A Walk in Walt's Footsteps focuses on the vision of Walt Whitman, and is not really suitable for small children. Filled with history and trivia about the park, this tour lasts for more than three hours, and costs $49 per person. The main feature of this tour is your peek at the exclusive Club 33.

"...Again, you should definitely consider making one of these tours part of your Disneyland experience – especially if this will be your first trip to Disneyland. You may see things and learn things that you would not see or learn without the benefit of the tour! ..." added H. Milla.

Brute force seo EVO II release give Advice for multilingual SEO Part 1 with multilangual toolbar

Consider all the possibilities.

Living as I do on the conjunction of three countries, that is Belgium, Holland and Germany, can make search engine optimisation (SEO) quite a challenge. Just in the surrounding area of the village I work from are four spoken languages so if you extrapolate that out to every possible combination of search terms, browser settings and computer language settings then you begin to see the scale of the problem.

Leaving aside the differing search terms and therefore your various sets of keyword targets, each different language user will have their own set of computer and browser language and preference settings that will give completely differing search results.

As a quick example try searching -

management consulting Liege

- on .com and .be-fr.

OptimaGest Management Consulting is 2nd out of 392,000 on Google.com and 24th out of 291,000 on Google.be-fr. (Don't worry, I'm still working on the Google.be rankings)

So here are a few tips that I have picked up to make your job a bit easier.

First setup your browser for multilingual searches.

Arm yourself with a browser that has configurable profiles. Firefox springs to mind.

Set up a profile for each required language so that your preference language and search engine preferences can be configured.

For Firefox installed with the installer:

Make sure firefox isn't running.

Then open the Windows "Start" menu, click "Run" (or Windows key + R) and then type:

firefox.exe -profilemanager or firefox.exe -P

If that doesn't work (it doesn't on my machine) then you need to type the full path to the firefox.exe surrounded by quotes and then the switch in the "Run" box. e.g.

"C:Program FilesMozilla Firefoxfirefox.exe" -profilemanager

For Mac OS X launch the Terminal

(Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal) and enter:

/Applications/firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox -profilemanager

If that doesn't work then include the -bin switch e.g.:

/Applications/Thunderbird.app/Contents/MacOS/thunderbird-bin -profilemanager

The profile manager dialogue will open and I recommend that you keep the "default" profile as this will preserve all your current settings. Click on "Create Profile" and follow the instructions. You should create and name a profile for each language and then make sure the "Don't ask at startup" option is unchecked. Now when you start Firefox normally the profile manager will open and you will be able to select your required profile.

As you start each profile for the first time go to "Tools" then "Options...", "Advanced" tab and then click the Languages "Choose..." button. Here set the language that is required for that particular profile and remove the default en-us.

Then open each search engine e.g. google.be in turn and specify in the preferences the required language etc so mirroring as closely as possible the actual setup your target audience will have.

Now you can quickly check your search engine rankings without having to re-configure your browser settings each time for each target market.

Now the multilingual keywords problem.

Of course before you can monitor your success you must first develop your keyword strategy and that is not as straight forward as it would seem. We must carefully our target keywords in each of our target markets. It is pointless OptimaGest Management Consulting being number one on Google.be-nl if the chosen keywords are never actually used in dutch.

My native language is english with a passable knowledge of german and the small beginnings of french so I am dependent on my translators for french and dutch. But web designers are not in the of producing perfectly grammatical and vocabulary correct sentences such as translators delight in. We are trying to pack an optimum number of relevant search terms or keywords into our copy while keeping it on message and readable.

In our native language we can, with a bit of research and practice, produce web site content that just "glows" with pertinent keywords and phrases leading on to mega search results. But where do you start in language 2, 3 or 4?

That will be the subject of my next article.

Does any of this sound confusing? If you are a newbie(new to the internet), probably so.

For veterans, maybe not.

But I'm talking to you, Yes you!

Reality Check time:

When it comes to Site Promotion (which SEO is used for) Okay, so you want to be be technical? It's used to position your site in the search engine to get traffic, visitors, or simply buyers. Maybe you just have a community message that you want to spread domestically or even globally or sell globally or domestically. Whatever the case. Look me in my eye when I tell you this: (figuratively speaking)

You Can either go fully the routes above alone or add the secret

Rod Woodson

Early years

Woodson is the youngest of three siblings, with whom he had close relationships. His father, the late James Woodson, was African-American, his mother, Linda Jo, is white; they were married providing a stable home for Joe, Jamie Rod . Woodson attended R. Nelson Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He played defensive back a variety of offensive skill positions was all-state his junior senior seasons. in addition to football, he won both the high low hurdles state championships in both his junior senior seasons; played varsity basketball his junior senior seasons, making all conference his senior year.

College career

Woodson accepted a full scholarship to play football at Purdue University, in part because of a desire to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. Woodson played primarily as a defensive back and kick returner, but also saw time on offense as a running back and wide receiver. He was named an All-American defensive back in 1985 and 1986, and was a three time All-Big Ten first team selection. In his final collegiate game, Woodson gained over 150 of combined rushing and receiving yards, in addition to making ten tackles and forcing a fumble, leading Purdue to a victory over arch-rival Indiana.

Woodson left Purdue with 13 individual records, notably tying the school record with eleven career interceptions. He currently is ranked in the top ten in career interceptions, solo tackles, total tackles, passes deflected, and kickoff return yardage as a Boilermaker.

In addition to his exploits on the gridiron, Woodson was also an accomplished track and field athlete at Purdue, and twice awarded All-America honors. He currently holds the school records in both the 60 and 110 meter hurdles, events in which he earned five Big Ten championships. In 1984, he qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 100 meter hurdles, but elected to continue his football career in the NFL after graduating from Purdue with a degree in criminal justice.

Woodson was inducted into the Purdue Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame in 2003.

Pro football career

In 1987, Woodson was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 10th overall draft pick. He returned punts and played defensive cornerback for Pittsburgh through the 1996 season. On November 22, 1987 he was listed third on the depth chart in a game against the division rival Cincinnati Bengals played at Cincinnati Riverfront Stadium, Woodson was inserted into the secondary. In the final minute of the second quarter, he recorded his first career interception when he picked off a Boomer Esiason pass.

He was a fan favorite and a banner that hung for years in Three Rivers Stadium stated: "Rod Is God". A highlight came in 1995 when Woodson became the first player to return from reconstructive knee surgery in the same season. That year he tore his ACL against the Detroit Lions in the first game and returned to play in the Super Bowl XXX between the Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys just 19 weeks later. In that game, he broke up a pass intended for Michael Irvin, hopped up and pointed at his reconstructed knee. In a game against the Houston Oilers, Woodson hit Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon on a cornerback blitz. The hit gave Moon a concussion and forced him to leave the game.

Woodson's career took a somewhat nomadic turn after free agency from Pittsburgh, after the Rooney family elected not to renew his contract over a pay dispute as well as the salary cap. (The team had a similar dispute with Franco Harris in 1984 and later with Alan Faneca in 2008.) Although he remained to raise his family in Pittsburgh and later made amends with the Rooneys, he hopped between three additional franchises, becoming one of the few modern cornerbacks to successfully make a transition to the safety position, following in the footsteps of Ronnie Lott. Woodson signed with the San Francisco 49ers for the 1997 season, the Baltimore Ravens for the years 1998 to 2001 (where he won Super Bowl XXXV), and the Oakland Raiders for 2002 and 2003 (where he appeared in his third Super Bowl). In the Raiders 2002 Super Bowl season, 37-year old Woodson led the NFL in interceptions (8) for the first time in his career. His last interception came on November 16, 2003 against the Minnesota Vikings Daunte Culpepper.

NFL records and accomplishments

Woodson is among the NFL's all time leaders in games played as a defensive back and interceptions. In his 17 NFL seasons, Woodson recorded 71 interceptions, 1,483 interception return yards, 32 fumble recoveries (15 offensive and 17 defensive), 137 fumble return yards, 4,894 kickoff return yards, 2,362 punt return yards, and 17 touchdowns (12 interception returns, 1 fumble return, 2 kickoff returns, 2 punt returns). He holds the league record for interceptions returned for touchdowns with 12, and is tied with 11 other players for the record for most fumble recoveries in a single game (3). His 1,483 interception return yards are also an NFL record. His 32 fumble recoveries are a record amongst defensive players. His 71 interceptions rank 3rd all time.

Woodson was named to the Pro Bowl eleven times, a record for a defensive back. He was also the first player to earn trips to the Pro Bowl at cornerback, safety and kick returner. He was named 1993's NFL Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press. He was also a 7 time All-Pro selection. Woodson finished second to Darrell Green in the 1988 NFL Fastest Man Contest.

In 1994, he was named to the NFL's 75th Anniversary Team. What made it notable was that Woodson was one of only five active players to be named to the team. The others were Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Reggie White and Ronnie Lott. In 1999, he was ranked number 87 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Football Players. The College Football News has also honored him as one of the 100 greatest players of the 20th century.

In 2007, he was ranked number 22 on USA Today list of the 25 best NFL players of the past 25 years.

It is unlikely that the Steelers will remove Woodson's number 26 from circulation, however, since the number is currently being worn by longtime cornerback Deshea Townsend, who as of the 2008 season has now played longer with the Steelers than Woodson did. (The team drafted Townsend in 1998 around the same time that Woodson signed with the archrival Ravens, and still had an acrimonious relationship with the Rooneys at the time.) Mel Blount's number 47 has also conspicuously remained in circulation since his retirement after the 1983 season.

On January 31, 2009, Woodson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility becoming the 18th Steelers-related person to be enshrined. Woodson named his good friend and associate Tracy Foster as his presenter. Foster went to Indiana to play basketball for Bob Knight. Foster runs Woodson car dealership in Pittsburgh.

Retirement

Woodson was released by the Oakland Raiders on July 27, 2004 after failing his team physical. His replacement at free safety for the Raiders was Stuart Schweigert, who coincidentally, broke Woodson's career interception record at Purdue.

He now helps coach the defense at Valley Christian Senior High in Dublin, California along with former Raider John Parrella. Woodson lives in Pleasanton, California with his wife Nickie and their five children . His son, Demitrius, plays safety and wide receiver there as well as kick returner.

Since 1994, Woodson has operated an annual youth football camp, the Woodson/Fabini Football Camp, on the grounds of his former high school. He is also a partner in Woodson Motorsports, a BMW motorcycle dealership and shop in Fort Wayne.

Currently Woodson splits his time between NFL Network studios in Los Angeles, his home in Pleasanton, and his cottage in Coldwater, Michigan. He was also part of the studio team for BBC Sport's NFL coverage in 2007, including Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLIII.

Rod Woodson sponsored a charity benefit dinner and auction on July 25, 2009 at the Oakland Coliseum - just two weeks before he entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame. All proceeds went to the Football and Scholarship programs at Valley Christian School, the high school where Rod coaches.

Sex Positions That Influence Whether You Have A Or A Girl

Some of the most common questions that I receive on my gender selection blogs have to do with intercourse or sexual positions.  Folks ask things like which position to use to conceive a boy or which to avoid if they want a girl baby.  I will answer these concerns, but first I'll explain why the sexual positions that you use aren't the only thing that you need to think about.  This variable is an important one, but it certainly isn't the only one.

How Sex Positions Figure Into Your Baby's Gender: In case you don't know exactly why the intercourse positions that you use are important, I'll briefly explain.  If you want a girl, then the X sperm chromosome is important to you.  This is the one that produces daughters these little gals are unique in that they are stronger live longer.  If you want a boy, then the Y chromosome becomes important to you.  But, you should know that although he's fast, he also burns out dies off pretty quickly. For the girls, speed is their weakness while longevity is their strength.  For the boys, longevity is their weakness while speed is their strength.

Now, which of these (X or Y) makes it to and fertilizes the egg first is going to determine if you get a boy or a girl.  But, before either of these make it to the egg, there is a lot that they have to navigate first.  Mostly, they have to make it through the either acidic or alkaline environment in your vagina and they have to the distance up toward your egg.  So, in essence, this is a race.

And, let's say for example, that the boys or Y's are represented by an Olympic sprinter because as I said, these guys are fast.  But, in our scenario, he has pneumonia and he's weak because of his illness.  His speed will not change, but he can only run this fast for so long because he's ill.

For our girls (or X chromosomes), let's use say an Olympic diver who is at the top of her game.  She's healthy, she's been training, and she's ready to go.  But, she's not a runner.  She's an athlete, but she's not going to be able to compete speed wise with the runner.  However, this race should be an interesting one because she's completely healthy and should far outlast him.

Admittedly, this is a silly scenario.  But, I'm bringing it up because I want for you to be able to visualize what the X's and Y's go through to complete their mission.  Now, how do sex positions come into play?  Well, they make the running field or the track longer or shorter.  If you use sexual positions which give you deep penetration, then you've given the sperm a shorter track.  If you use shallow positions, then you've just lengthened the track.

So, if you want to conceive a boy baby, you'll want to use deep penetration (woman on top, rear entry, having the woman raise her legs and hips, etc.) because you want for our ill Olympic runner to have to run for a shorter distance so that he can potentially win. But, if you want to conceive a baby girl, you're pulling for your Olympic diver.  So, you want to use shallow penetration (missionary style, man on top, etc.) because you want the ill sprinter to have to run a marathon so he will become fatigued and weaken so that our diver will win.

More To Consider: PH And Time Frame: Hopefully by now, you know why intercourse positions come into play.  But there are other ways that you can manipulate this race to give the edge to the competitor that you want to win.  You can use timing as a variable, meaning you can conceive earlier if you want a girl or later if you want a boy. Conceiving later forces the Y's to survive in an almost impossible time frame.  For a male baby, you want to begin trying after ovulation, and for a girl, you want to begin trying well before ovulation.  And, you need to make sure that you have a very reliable ovulation predictor because even a small window of time can make a huge difference.

I alluded to this earlier, but you can also manipulate the PH of your vagina to create a more alkaline (friendly to boys) or acidic (friendly to girls) environment. You can do this by the foods you eat or avoid or by douching just before or during your attempts to conceive.

I've put together a few websites that take a lot of the guess work out of choosing your baby's gender when getting pregnant. You'll find step by step instructions, resources for douche recipes and food PH lists, information on when to conceive, , support, and examples of ovulation predictors / PH testing strips.

What Makes You Get Pregnant With A Boy Or A Girl Baby?

I get a lot of correspondence which asks about the variables, practices, or methods that contribute to your having a girl or a boy baby. There are many things that go into determining your baby's gender. And some of these things are at least somewhat within your control. I will discuss this more in the following .

The Short Answer Regarding The Things That Contribute To Your Having A Girl Or A Boy Baby: If I had to break this down to its most basic level, I could tell you that having an X sperm chromosome successfully make it's way to the woman's egg and then fertilize it is what determines that you will have a girl baby. And, having a boy baby comes down to getting a Y sperm chromosome to partner with the woman's egg. Assuming that these pairings result in a live birth, the baby's gender is determined in the instant that these pairings take place. People often ask me if you can influence gender after you become pregnant. Actually, this time frame is just too late. Once egg and sperm meet, this is when gender is decided. Yes, the reproductive organs and indications may not be present and able to be seen for weeks or months to come. But, the determination was made at conception.

The Long Answer Regarding The Contributions That You Can Control To Help Determine If You Have A Boy Or A Girl Baby: Hopefully, I've made it somewhat obvious that, at least on some level, this is sort of cut and dry process. The equations are: X plus egg equals girl, while Y plus egg equals boy. However, there are some things that you can do to help increase the odds of getting the result that you want. Unfortunately, you can't see what's going on in your reproductive tract. But you can use the knowledge that we have about these chromosomes to create a scenario and a regimen that is going to encourage the gender that you want while discouraging the gender that you don't want.

For example, we know that the X (or girl producing) sperm lives longer than the Y (or boy producing) sperm. We also know that the Y's are more vulnerable to both time and environment. There often won't be many of them that survive if say you have intercourse and try to conceive 3 - 5 days before the egg is available for fertilization (which is also ovulation.) And, there will be even less of them if those that do survive for that long then have to travel through an acidic reproductive tract.

Therefore, if you wanted a girl, it would be to your advantage to have intercourse well before ovulation and to use diet or douching regimens to become acidic. And if you want a boy, you would want to take the opposite approach. You'd want to have intercourse as close as you could to the egg becoming available (ovulation) and you'd want to be alkaline rather than acidic. There are tools (like ovulation predictors and PH test strips) that can help you with this.

The Bottom Line Regarding What Determines The Gender Of Your Baby: The bottom line is that it's the man's sperm chromosomes that determine if you'll have a boy or a girl. But those chromosomes (X and Y) have certain characteristics that make their trek to the egg a much different experience for each of them. You can use these variables to come up with a regimen that, if done correctly, will increase your odds of getting the gender that you'd prefer.

I've put together a few websites that take a lot of the guess work out of choosing your baby's gender when getting pregnant. You'll find step by step instructions, resources for determining ovulation times, douche recipes and food PH lists, information on when to conceive, tips, support, and examples of ovulation predictors / PH testing strips.

2001 Toyota RAV4 Owners Manual

Owners manual are being provided so the vehicle will have a guide on how to go about in operating the vehicle.  It has instructions on what to do and some not to do.  Without the owners' manual, we often just try to discover operating or opening some of the vehicle parts.  That is the easy part of it without the manual.  One that will hardly be found will be the vehicle's specifications.  Some specifications like tire sizes and pressure, type of brake fluid, spark plug gap and brake fluid are labeled on the vehicle.

For a 2001 Toyota RAV4 Owners Manual or chilton auto repair manual, it is important to have it because it is built on a larger platform than its predecessor and with an all-new engine.  This model is the first year for the second-generation Toyota RAV4.   Here are some important information and specification for owners of this RAV4 model:  For Capacities - Oil/filter change: 4.2 qt. (4.0L); Automatic transmission: 4.1 qt. (3.9L); Manual transmission: FWD, 2.6 qt. (2.5L): AWD, 3.6 qt. (3.4L);

Transfer case: 1 qt. (0.9L); Fuel tank capacity: 14.7 gal. (55.6L); Cooling system: 6.8 qt. (6.4L);and for Air Conditioning Refrigerant: 17.64 ± 1.76 oz. (500 ± 50 g).  With this, owners are aware now the maximum capacity of fluids.  Many of the parts that contain the fluids should not be over filled.  For brake fluid and coolant you can view the limit of topping them.

Lubricants type or standards are as follows: Brake fluid Type: DOT 3; Engine oil: API SJ or newer, SAE 5W-30; Automatic transmission oil: ATF Type T-IV; Manual transmission oil: API GL-4 or -5, SAE 75W-90; Transfer case: API GL-5, SAE 90; Power steering: Dexron III; Refrigerant: R134a; Compressor: PAG ND-OIL 8.  The specified types here have initials like  for SAE is Society of Automotive Engineers.  API stands for American Petroleum Institute.  Except for ATF, it stands for Automatic Transmission Fluid, not an organizational authority.  The types indicated here are compatible with the parts using the lubricants.  There are lubricants that have other chemicals that could be harmful.

The other 2001 Toyota RAV4 Owners Manual/Chevrolet Repair Manual information important to owners is as follows:  Maintenance Requirements:  Change Oil and filter after every 7,500 miles; Drain and replace Radiator Coolant every 30,000 miles or two years, whichever comes first, and  Replace Spark plugs after every 30,000 miles.  For wheel alignment and adjustments,  Front Alignment: Toe: FWD, 0; AWD, 1mm (0.040 in.); Camber: FWD, -0°25'; AWD, -0°20'; Caster: FWD, 1°55'; AWD, 2°00'; SAI: FWD, 11°00'; AWD, 10°45'; Steering Compressor: 3.5 oz. (100cc).  For Rear Alignment: Toe: FWD, 4mm (0.160 in.); AWD, 3mm (0.120 in.); Camber: FWD, 1°15'; AWD, 0°55'.  Wheel alignments should be done whenever it is observed that tires wear out unevenly or for every complete 4-tire change.  The specifications shown here are just a portion of what could be found on the owner's manual.  The others not indicated here are more for certified technician information.  The information here should help owners of 2001 Toyota RAV4 who do not have the owner's manual available.
