Benefits to baby modeling?
Is there any benefits to baby modeling? Other then parents getting money for their child? Has anyone here ever gotten their baby/toddler in a commercial or add?
I have been thinking about this, not because I want my son to be in commercials, but I was interested in the Gerber baby contest(which I can't find any information on anyway).
Anyone have thoughts? And I don't need a lecture on how it's bad...I shouldn't do it. I know that already...I think my son is gorgeous, but I wouldn't put him through commercial shoots or anything. (But I would send in a picture for a contest)

I used to have one of my children in modeling. I lived in LA and I modeled at the time and just thought he was so cute....
HE made a little money and I put it in a CD and still have it for when he turns 21....
I say the only down fall to any child being in any entertainment type industry is if you push them into something they dont wanna do. If they quit having fun, or decide they dont wanna do it anymore, you have to stop. Pushing past that could be detrimental.
But a little cute baby contest...GO FOR IT!
