Question for a Jewish person about photography...?

I am a photographer that is taking family and 's portraits for a Jewish family. I will be going into there home and shooting photo's of a newborn.....Is there anything I should know? Would it be OK for me to ask to take semi-naked photo's? I just don't want to be ignorant and offend anyone. Thanks for you help.

Hi :)

I'd suggest you just ask the parents what type of photographs they're envisaging, and then take your cue from them.

Unless it's a really Orthodox family, you don't have to 'do' or 'not do' anything differently to normal.

Just treat them like you would any other clients :)

Nice of you to ask, though :)

This updated handbook closes with a helpful glossary that decodes complicated legalese.
